Summer Glau Becomes A Super Hero’s Blogging Sidekick in NBC Pilot

Another member of the Serenity crew could find herself on NBC this fall.

The Hollywood Reporter says Summer Glau will be part of the cast of The Cape, which is about an ex-cop framed for a crime he didn’t committ. He becomes a costumed hero to battle criminals an dclear his name.

Glau’s character is Orwell, an investigating blogger who will also get physical in helping the hero.

If the show is picked up, she may join fellow crew member Alan Tudyk on the new NBC fall lineup. He, of course, will be part of the Rockford Files remake..

Upcoming Whedonopolis Convention Coverage!

Convention season is ramping up again, and it’s going to be a busy, busy year here at Whedonopolis. We plan to have coverage of many of the conventions coming up this year, such as several Creation conventions such as their Los Angeles Supernatural as well as their convention weekend in November covering Firefly, Buffy, Angel and Dollhouse, as well as Stargate and Farscape all in the same weekend.

Besides all of that fun, there’s also WonderCon and Anaheim Comic Con in April, Rock’N Comic Con in May, and yes, the ACTUAL Comic-Con in July…and those are just here in the Southern California area.
