Jewel Staite Visits Anaheim Comic-Con

Hundreds of fans gathered at the Anaheim Convention Center this past weekend for Wizard World Anaheim, where they met more than 200 celebrities from movies, TV and wrestling.

Jewel Staite, best known to Whedon fans as Kaylee on Firefly, met with fans on April 17th to talk about her career, her memories of Firefly….and why she’s trying to lobby Nathan Fillion to get her on Castle.

Ghostfacers Premiere Party Report

Last night, a few of us were fortunate enough to attend the premiere party for the web-based Supernatural spinoff, Ghostfacers. If you’re unaware, Ghostfacers follows a ghost-hunting duo named Ed and Larry, who originally were seen in the first season Supernatural episode, "Hell House". They returned in a season three episode entitled, "Ghostfacers" appropriately enough. Now they’re back with their own web-based mini-series, and we were on hand to see it and its stars first-hand. WonderCon 2010: Cast of Chuck Talks About Keeping Secrets And Faith

Just like unlikely spy Chuck Bartowski, the role he plays every Monday on NBC, Zachary Levi is concerned about keeping secrets.

He was reluctant to say what he’ll be doing as Chuck wraps up its third season later this spring because he claims there’s a mole revealing spoilers to other websites. He even said he didn’t get the last few pages of the season finale until just a few days ago.

Still he can understand why. "To me, it always boggles my mind that people would wan to spoil that stuff anyway," he says. "It takes away the whole experience of any show."

Levi and co-stars Joshua Gomez and Adam Baldwin were careful not to reveal too much during the final day of WonderCon this past Sunday, They talked to reporters just two hours before a surprise showing of "Chuck vs. the Other Guy," an episode that revealed some big changes.

Paley Center: Justice Will Be Done

A subtle extravangaza.

To this writer, it is the best way to describe the atmosphere at Los Angeles’ famed Paley Center on February 18.  DC Comics was unveiling another entry in its esteemed line of animated features:  JUSTICE LEAGUE – CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS, released on DVD, special two-disc special edition DVD and Blu-ray on February 23.

Juliet Landau Faces Fans on Facebook

For the second time in two weeks Juliet Landau took questions from fans on the internet. After getting several questions through Twitter,  she took questions last Thursday on Facebook, mainly about her new documentary, Take Flight, which looks at how actor Gary Oldman made a music video of a Jewish hip-hop group, and only used cell phones to film it. It will be streaming to the public on February 25th.
