Today started off early, as my plan was to be at the Convention Center early (8:00am) for the 10:00am Torchwood panel.What I didn’t take into account was the fact that people were lining up for the Walking Dead panel, which came after it.Le sigh.That’ll teach me.
The biggest problem with trying to blog during SDCC is finding the time.I typed this as I sat amongst Con-Goers on the ground for the much-anticipated Cirque de Soleil show, eyes directed at the outside wall of Petco Park.It was being shown free to all with eyes in their head, within viewing distance.
As usual, Comic Con began with a crowd. A crowd of people in San Diego, some excited,
some angry, some impatient, some happy. I still don’t get why people bring babies, I really don’t. I mean I understand being a geek. I understand being a geek and getting
married, getting pregnant and having babies. I don’t understand bringing a baby to Comic
Con. Just the sheer crush of the crowd
would seem to me, to be, well, threatening. Ah well.
