Why doesn’t Superman just fix the world’s problems?  He’s the most powerful being on the planet.  No army can stop him.  No weapon can hurt him.  Why doesn’t he just gather up all the tyrants, despots, dictators and various ruling authoritarians, fly them out to the Fortress of Solitude and tell them to knock off the crap or he’ll incinerate them with his heat vision?  After watching a couple of their colleagues go up in flames, wouldn’t you think the rest would decide to turn over a new leaf?  Yes, it’s brutal.  But if the result is world peace, then isn’t it worth it?
