Exclusive Interview: David Greenwalt &Jim Kouf – Grimm

During San Diego Comic Con 2011 Whedonopolis was invited to sit in on the first public screening of NBC’s Grimm.  With a pedigree of David Greenwalt (Buffy/Angel), Jim Kouf (Angel) and Norberto Barba (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) as executive producers and writers I found the pilot’s script flowed well and the potential of the storyline was very Buffyverse and tweeted so during the screening (and told a very excited Todd Milliner the same). While it’s taken a few episodes to kick in, the series is now delving into the Grimm family history of Nick Burkhardt, the Wesen (pronounced Vesen) and Nick’s co-workers on the Portland Police Force.  As we learned from Buffy and Angel there is no absolute good and evil, only shades of grey. And the shades have been interesting since the first episode and getting more so.

Recently I had the opportunity to talk with Greenwalt and Kouf about what’s coming up this month and what we have to look forward to.
