The network upfronts have been around for as long as I can remember and, early in my career, I also got to participate in a couple of them. For any avid TV fan, though, they are a fun presentation with lots of stars and clips of old shows and new shows and with a bit of some boring stuff in the middle – you know, just like the Emmy Awards, The Golden Globes and every other awards show you can think of (aka The Oscars).
