The second chapter of “Flux” features the Sontarans, who are using time travel to beat England in the Crimean War and take over the Earth in the present day.
Yaz is sent to a mysterious temple that seems to be regulating time, but Swarm also returns to destroy it…and maybe worse.

This is a Marvel movie that’s not quite for everyone but should still be seen. It’s a bit talky, but the story of ancient super-heroes battling an alien threat turns out to be a bit more than that.

The new season of Doctor Who starts with a one-hour premiere that packs a lot of details and story in a small space. As usual, the fate of the universe is at stake as galaxies are collpasing, and a very bad guy is behind it all. There’s also a new companion, a friend who’s not quite familiar, and two bad guys who are.

What if the Watcher decided to be Nick Fury, and organize his own version of the Avengers to battle Ultimate Ultron? It creates a solid season finale with an ending that seems too tidy but really isn’t. It also suggests a lot of interesting stories next year.

What if Ultron won….and found out this universe isn’t the only one? That’s the premise for this week’s episode. It forces the Watcher to do more than watch, while two Avengers hope an unlikely ally will take Ultron down.
