AMC’s hit show returns with a two-night season premiere event, airing Sunday, June 25th at 10pm ET/PT.  The second episode will air the next day at the show’s normal time, Monday at 9pm ET/PT.

The show will continue to focus on the “Powerful” trio: Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Oscar nominee, Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun).  For those who aren’t familiar with this comic-book story turned TV thrill ride, the story focuses on Jesse, a preacher with a criminal past set on finding God who he has discovered his absent from Heaven.  Tulip is Jesse’s true love, joining in on the ride in his crazy quest.  Cassidy is a 119 year old Irish vampire and Jesse’s best friend.

The trio has ended up in New Orleans, where plenty of danger has met them, including an unstoppable killer Cowboy from Hell.  Preacher is an adventure ride for viewers and provides a story different than most shows, with the traditional elements of love, friendship and action still being present.

Season two’s returning cast include Cooper, Negga, Gilgun, Ian Coletti, Graham McTavish, and new additions Noah Taylor (Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones), Pip Torrens (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Julie Ann Emery (Better Call Saul) and more!
