What many of Jennifer Morrison‘s fans, likely, already know from following her on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram is she’s a very busy woman! Morrison embodies the idea of there being no rest for the weary, and I just like to call her a hustler! When she isn’t working long hours in her role as Emma Swan on ABC’s Once Upon A Time, in recent years she’s been busying herself trying on new hats as director and producer.
This past year Morrison announced the launch of her own production company, Apartment 3C Productions, and directed the short film Wild Wild Horses. The short film features some familiar faces: starring Morrison herself, Rose McIver (iZombie and Once Upon A Time), and Geoff Stults (7th Heaven). The film will be showcased at the 12th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival in August, where on opening night Morrison will be presented with the 2016 Trailblazer Award presented by Women In Film.
The award is much deserved and we look forward to seeing much more from Morrison in the future; including her first film under Apartment 3C Productions, Sun Dogs – which includes an all-star cast of Michael Angarano, Melissa Benoist, Allison Janney and Ed O’Neill.
As for Emma Swan fans, they can get their fix when Once Upon A Time returns for its 6th season this fall!
Congratulations, Jennifer! The future looks bright for you and we can’t see what you have in store for all of us.
