Prime Video is gearing up for this year’s New York Comic Con by announcing their plans to bring two highly anticipated new series, Cross and Secret Level, to the big event.
Cross is based on best-selling author James Patterson’s novels featuring the intrepid homicide detective, Alex Cross. The new crime-thriller series from executive producer/showrunner Ben Watkins, stars Aldis Hodge as Cross, a detective and forensic psychologist, uniquely capable of digging into the psyches of killers and their victims, in order to identify—and ultimately capture—the murderers. It makes its global debut on Prime Video on November 14th this year.
Secret Level, from executive producers Tim Miller and Dave Wilson, is a new adult-animated anthology series featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the world’s most beloved video games. Each of the 15 episodes is a celebration of games and gamers and it brings together more game IPs in a single series than any other series before. The games that served as an inspiration for the series include Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, Warhammer 40,000 and will highlight various PlayStation Studios beloved entities. Secret Level debuts on December 10th.
The NYCC appearances will feature cast and creatives as they share exciting details and answer burning questions about their upcoming series. There will be breaking news and exclusive content.
