The new TV season may be weeks away, but some lucky people will get an early peek at Sarah Michelle Gellar’s return to TV.
The Paley Center in Beverly Hills will host screenings of pilots of several new CBS shows on Friday September sixth. It will include Gellar’s new sitcom, The Crazy Ones, also starring Robin Williams.
Gellar’s sitcom will also be shown on September seventh at the Paley Center in New York City, at about 1:20 PM, as part of the CBS screenings. All screening at both the Beverly Hills and New York City locations will be free, and tickets will be available to everyone starting August ninth. Go to this Paley Center link for more information
In Beverly Hills the CBS evening will start with the showing of “We Are Men” at 7 PM, followed by a panel at 7:30 featuring Tony Shalhoub, Kal Penn and Jerry O’Connell. This will be live-streamed on the internet. This will be followed by showings of The Millers, Mom, The Crazy Ones and Hostages.
Seth Green’s new Fox sitcom, Dads, will also be part of the Paley Center’s preview. It will be shown on September 9th after a special panel for Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Back in Beverly Hills the festival will feature two special programs, a “Fall Farewell” salute to the SHOWTIME drama Dexter, on Thursday, September 12, featuring members of the cast & creative team for a screening and conversation; and a “Fall Flashback,” Reflections: China Beach 25 Years Later,” featuring a reunion of the cast & creative team, on Friday, September 13.
