While Much Ado About Nothing is winding down its theatrical run, details are being revealed on the home video version coming soonAccording to Blu-Ray.com, Lionsgate has announced the DVD version of Much Ado is coming on October eighth, in standard DVD and Bl-ray. If you can’t wait, it’ll be available On Demand on September 24th, the same date as the first episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD.
The Blu-ray features will include two commentaries, one with Joss Whedon, and one with Whedon and the full cast. There will also be a music video for “Sigh No More”, a look behind the scenes, and a featurette on the “bus tour” to South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.
The movie was made in just 12 days at Whedon’s house, and includes a fine cast including Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof, Reed Diamond, Nathan Fillion, Tom Lenk, Clark Gregg, Jillian Morgese, Riki Lindhome, Sean Maher, Fran Kranz, Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher.
So far, the movie has earned more than four million dollars in the U-S, and about 700 thousand dollars overseas.
