Select PaleyFest Panels and Short Form Content to Stream Exclusively on Hulu and Hulu Plus (fantastic for those who can’t attend).
For those who haven’t yet had the pleasure of attending a PaleyFest, it’s The Paley Center for Media’s annual two-week celebration of great television. Additionally, Hulu, who first partnered with PaleyFest for its spring 2012 event, expands its relationship with the Festival, and has been named Premier Sponsor for PaleyFest 2013.
This means in addition to coverage and interviews by the local team at Whedonopolis, we’ll update you on when you can watch the livestream of your favorite panels.
The Newsroom, Revolution and Once Upon A Time are the first three series to be revealed from the extensive roster of programs. Additional talent appearances, screenings, and panels will be announced within the coming months, and the full slate of Festival honorees will be revealed on Wednesday, January 9.
As part of its Premier Sponsorship, Hulu will stream a selection of full-length panel content and short form clips, exclusively on-demand from each PaleyFest panel on the free ad-supported Hulu.com, and the Hulu Plus subscription service.
Last year’s PaleyFest panels included American Horror Story (Tim Minear), Once Upon a Time (Jane Espenson, Castle (Nathan Fillion), and Mad Men (Vincent Kartheiser and Christina Hendricks).
PaleyFest.org, the Festival’s official website, will continue to serve as the official destination for ongoing PaleyFest announcements, content including photos and video clips from Festival events both current and classic, Festival merchandise, and ticket sales. New PaleyFest Showrunner Passes, including admission to each Festival event at the Saban Theatre, are now on sale, and the new Studio Pass will be available to Paley Center Members on Wednesday, January 9, and to the general public on Thursday, January 10. Individual event tickets will go on sale to Paley Center Members on Friday, January 11, and to the general public on Sunday, January 13 via www.paleyfest.org and the Festival’s ticket provider: www.ticketweb.com.
Fans are invited to follow @paleycenter and #PaleyFest on Twitter for immediate announcements and live tweeting from the events.
