Not long after her mother’s tragic death, Cassie goes to live with her grandmother in Chance Harbor, Washington. There she discovers powers hidden throughout generations, her forbidden attraction to Adam Conant (Thomas Dekker) and herself.
Before watching this, I was a huge fan of "The Craft". I seriously thought this to be a replica of that movie, where teenagers would have super powers, hiding their private lives from their loved ones. "The Secret Circle" provides a different route, where each teenager of ‘the Circle’ has inherited their family’s powers of being a witch. Together, they make it their goal to recruit Blake into their group, where they feel she is ‘meant to be’. As Cassie starts to accept the terms that comes with having power, conflicts start to unravel due to the hidden cause of her mother’s death and her soulmate, Adam, who is in a relationship with the leader of the circle, Diana.
"The Secret Circle" is written by L.J. Smith, author of "The Vampire Diaries". If you enjoy supernatural romance, be ready for this series. It’s going to shake you with it‘s spell. The Secret Circle – Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW
