The 18th Century play from Oliver Goldsmith tells the tale of Kate, a upper-class girl whose beau is too nervous to woo her. However, he’s not so nervous when he’s aroud lower-class women. So, Kate pretends to be a barmaid to win her beau’s heart…but it’s not that simple. There’s also misunderstandings, secret affairs and jewels involved. The cast includes Emily Bergl, who was in the Syfy mini-series Taken, and most recently on the ABC comedy Men in Trees, Southland and The Good Wife,  and Jane Carr, who was in the NBC comedy, Dear John.
