Warner Bros. and DC Comics are teaming up to bring fans a new digital TV service in 2018. This service launches with at least two flagships, a live action Titans and a return of DC’s popular animated series Young Justice now called Young Justice: Outsiders.
Titans written by Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Discovery, Underground), DC Entertainment president & chief creative officer Geoff Johns (The Flash, Arrow) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, The Flash, Supergirl), explores Dick Grayson emerging from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of young meta-humans recruited from every corner of the DCU. Some of the soon to be Titans include heroes such as Starfire and Raven.
Young Justice: Outsiders continue to tell the exploits of the young heroes within the DCU. There is no word on the exact team as of yet, what is known is that this season the team faces its greatest challenge as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy.
There’s no word on pricing or even a name for the upcoming streaming service, but this will give DC the opportunity to provide more content to fans. Continue to look here as more information emerges.
