On Saturday, April 19th at 4:30pm the TV Guide will again have their Fan Favorites Showrunners panel, this time featuring the documentary film Showrunners and a Q&A with panelists from The X-Files, The Big Bang Theory, Arrow, Once Upon A Time, Husbands, The Librarians and Revolution.
In addition to the Q&A, Director Des Doyle, will be premiering EXCLUSIVE clips from the upcoming documentary feature Showrunners . The panel takes place on Saturday, April 19th at 4:30pm in Room 300DE. The official online WonderCon program for the event.

The panel includes: Jane Espenson (Once Upon a Time, Husbands and our beloved Buffy), Rockne S. O’Bannon (Revolution and Farscape), Chris Carter (The X-Files and The After), Steve Callaghan (Family Guy), Marc Guggenheim (Arrow), Andrew Kreisberg (Arrow), Steven Molaro (The Big Bang Theory) and John Rogers (Leverage and The Librarians). TV Guide L.A. Bureau Chief, Michael Schneider will be moderating.

Showrunners is the first ever feature length documentary film to explore the fascinating world of US television showrunners and explores the creative forces aligned around them. “These are the people responsible for creating, writing and overseeing every element of production on one of the United States’s biggest exports –television drama and comedy series,” explained director, Des Doyle. The film intends to show audiences the massive amount of work that goes into ensuring their favorite TV series airs on time, as well as the many challenges that showrunners have to overcome to make sure a new series even makes it onto the schedule at all.
